If you’re cleaning your cottage, garage or basement this weekend and have beer cans, liquor or wine bottles to get rid of, please consider donating them to the Bracebridge Lions at our shed at the Rosewarne Transfer Station. We not only help the environment by recycling the bottles and cans, but the funds raised go right back to helping folks in our community.
The Lions Club of Bracebridge would like to thank the community for all their support through our refundable container shed at the Rosewarne Transfer Station in Bracebridge. ALL the funds raised through this effort stay in our community.
We are still open for business and sincerely thank you for your REFUNDABLE container donations.
Bring your festive empties to the Lions Hall – 325 Fraserburg Road, Bracebridge, between 10:00am – 2:00pm on Saturday, January 9th.
We will sort and recycle them. All the funds raised stay in the community.
We also have a bottle depot shed at the Rosewarne Transfer Station. Thanks to your contributions of returnable bottles and cans the Lions have raised close to $40,000 in the past 5 years, all of which went back into serving this community!
On Saturday morning Sept 12th, approximately 25 Lions and dignitaries arrived to celebrate the GRAND OPENING of our new Rental Storage Units.
Lion President Scott thanked everyone that helped, Mayor Graydon Smith congratulated the club on this wonderful achievement and then he cut the ribbon officially opening the building.
The Club was able to social distance and still swear in our new 2020-21 Board of Directors.

The Lions Club of Bracebridge is pleased to announce the winner of the Lions MDA (All Ontario) Effective Speaking contest for the Senior French Session (Grade 10-12) held May 3-5, 2019 in Sarnia Ontario. MEGAN JAMES is a Grade 10 student at the Bracebridge, Muskoka Lakes Secondary School. She is a graduate of Monck Public School French Immersion program.
Megan has participated in the effective speaking program through the Bracebridge Lions for the past five years and has excelled at all levels.
The Lions Club of Bracebridge wish Megan continued success as she progresses through her education in Bracebridge and beyond. The club hopes that her experiences with the Lions effective speaking program helps her in years ahead and encourages other students to follow in Megan’s footsteps.
